FIELD: processes for making abrasive articles. SUBSTANCE: method includes use of elongated abrasive grains with ratio of length to diameter of its cross section equal at least to 5:1 in order to make abrasive articles with high permeability for passing fluids. In description of invention method for measuring permeability is offered. Ready abrasive articles may be used for grinding operations.
