FIELD: machine engineering, possibly manufacture of abrasive tool, operations for grinding part surfaces.
SUBSTANCE: bonded abrasive tool includes three-dimensional composition material with relatively small percentage volume of abrasive grains and binder material and with relatively high percentage volume of mutually communicated pores. New porous structure of tool includes agglomerated abrasive grains and it is permeable for fluid flow. Abrasive tool has relatively low hardness grade.
EFFECT: improved mechanical strength, enhanced operational quality parameters at grinding different surfaces of parts.
