FIELD: construction industry. SUBSTANCE: cemented plates coming in the form of single-layer tiles or slabs or blocks divided in sequence into plates are manufactured from mixture of granulated stone material. with selected size of particles and binding solution of cement, water with addition of plasticizer for cement solutions in which water is taken in the amount between 0.25-0.36 parts by weight in proportion to weight of cement. Quantity of added binding solution slightly exceeds value of hollow fraction of granulated material. Specified articles are manufactured by process and plant with use of mould carrying layer of mixture of specified thickness. Mixture is first deaerated in the course of short time interval under very high vacuum. Then mixture is imparted with vibration under condition of lower vacuum. After this mould is directed to corresponding sections for setting and hardening. EFFECT: manufacture of thin articles that can be sawed into plates of bigger size than those produced by sawing of blocks manufactured by traditional technology, first-class physical and mechanical properties, especially porosity and bending strength, of plates very much resembling natural stone. 30 cl, 5 dwg
