SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to construction, particularly to fabrication of rod cover plates. Proposed method comprises the following stages: pouring the mix in the form of a thin layer into moulding pan 12, moving the mould to deaeration and compaction station wherein, in at least one pass under vacuum said mix is subjected to preset-frequency-oscillation transfer, intermediate product is cured in said moulding pan for 24 hours. Thereafter, article is removed from mould 12 to be cured for approximately one week. Prior to pouring the initial mix, assemblage of drops of at least one painting paste consisting of, in fact, cement, water, extra liquefier and pigment is applied on mould bottom inner surface that consist of different-colour pastes. Road cover, thus produced, feature the effect of veins lines or spots.
EFFECT: higher quality of road cover.
