FIELD: designs of domestic sewing machines.

SUBSTANCE: mechanism includes devices for horizontal and vertical motions of spring-loaded lever carrying toothed rack or made as one piece with said rack. In horizontal motion device moving shaft is built-up one; it has common base and detachable bearing assemblies fastened by means of clamps. Said shaft is kinematically joined with main shaft through eccentric pin mounted in back balance beam. Supports are mounted after testing motion stroke of rocking axle and bearing assemblies for mounting moving shaft in shuttle shaft. First bearing assembly is in the form of two rigidly joined cylindrical sleeves; two second bearing assemblies are in the form of spherical sleeves. Such bearing assemblies may be mounted on base without working it by means of special equipment.
