FIELD: optical instruments. SUBSTANCE: mirror polyhedron has reflecting planes, which form two pyramid frustums which greater bases are located on opposite sides, and which have different dihedral angles. Edges of dihedral angles are perpendicular to rotation axis of polyhedron. Pyramid frustums are designed as single unit, which shape regular polyhedron in each pyramid frustum in plane, which is perpendicular to rotation axis and is equidistant from greater and smaller bases. EFFECT: decreased weight, simplified manufacturing, increased stability of parameters, decreased vignetting of output pencil of rays. 4 dwg
