FIELD: computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has first mirror rotating polyhedron, which is designed as two identical pyramids which are turned to one another by lesser bases, and second mirror polyhedron, which has same number of planes and is designed as two pyramids which are turned to one another by greater bases. Planes of first polyhedron with external reflecting surfaces form pairs of dihedral angles. Edges of dihedral angles are located in plane which is perpendicular to rotation axis of polyhedron. Planes of second polyhedron with inner reflecting surfaces form pairs of dihedral angles and embrace first polyhedron, so that beam is reflected from reflecting surfaces of planes of first and second polyhedrons in sequence. Angular velocity of second polyhedron upon scanning is twice as much as velocity of first polyhedron. Frame scanning is achieved by subsequent alteration of dihedral angles between subsequent pairs of reflecting surfaces of second polyhedron. EFFECT: decreased raster distortion, extension of beam rotation point into outer space. 2 cl, 4 dwg
