SETTLING TANK FOR CLEANING LUBRICATING AND COOLING LIQUID Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: settling tank can be used at plants for cleaning lubricating and cooling liquids and other processing liquids from impurities. Settling tank has scraper conveyer made so that its magnetic rods are installed between scraper conveyer runs in plane arranged in parallel with or at angle to bottom of settling tank. Magnetic rods are provided with plate-type sludge remover enclosing the rods and installed for reciprocating along magnetic rod axes. Sludge remover can be made for displacement by means of scrapers of conveyer. Scraper conveyer is made with possibility of disengagement of conveyor scrapers and sludge remover. Lubricating and cooling liquid can be let in and out through hollow shaft of scraper conveyer or through branch pipe located between bottom of settling tank and separating casing found between runs of scraper conveyer.
