FIELD: production of reinforced casts, in particular, grids, fences and like articles with artistic cast fragments. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming rough blocks in each half of molding box so that rough block surfaces are in contact one with the other over detachment plane; making signs in the form of two through openings in rough blocks at both sides of working cavity, with signs corresponding to section of reinforcing members. Ratio of height of each rough block and radius or half the thickness of reinforcing member in portions where signs are made is 1.2-1.5. Casting molds may be produced in set having at least two molds which are positioned in aligned and spaced relation one with respect to the other. Molds are interconnected by single reinforcing member. Jig has perforated spacer of height equal to that of rough block. Single jig allows casts disposed at different distances from end of reinforcing member to be produced. EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced consumption of materials. 3 cl, 3 dwg
