FIELD: metal cutting, namely, working in machine tools having axial tool with closed base. SUBSTANCE: chuck for rigid fixation of tool with closed base and large diameters of working portion (23-50 mm) includes body connected by means of threaded joint with nut and having subsidiary flat mounting base, double supporting base placed in center of said flat mounting base and bearing base in the form of one of three cylindrical keys, annular body having three brackets with point supports for engaging with axial cutting tool mounted in flat cylindrical portion of said nut; disc joined by means of three pins with annular body and three abutment. In order to provide accuracy of double supporting base the last is in the form of round disc monolithic with cylindrical body arranged in turning of housing and secured to it by means of screw. There are four cylindrical openings for wrench on outer face of said nut. EFFECT: improved design. 3 dwg
