FIELD: building material industry. SUBSTANCE: method relates to production of ceramic brick. Method consists in extrusion of plastic clay bar, cutting of it into pieces of definite sizes and in additional pressing. Through hollows are formed in clay bar in stage of extrusion. Hollows are stopped up in process of additional pressing. Hollows may be stopped up from one or two sides. Method is used to improve heat-insulating and soundproofing properties of brick and to preserve accurate constructional sizes. EFFECT: improved quality of brick. 3 cl, 1 dwg
