FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed stone may be used for masonry of structural and self-supporting walls and other elements of building. Proposed method comprises preparation of charge mix, its crushing and mincing in coarse rolls, finishing in fine rolls, mixing and damping of clay mix in mixer. Clay mix is fed from mixer into mould adapter head for block with voidage of 44-54% to be moulded at moisture content of 16-18%, rate of 6-8 s and vacuum level of 0.9 kg/cm2. Said block is cut into stone work pieces to be dried for 49-51 h and roasted in kiln at 980-1000°C. Note here that said charge represents the mix containing the following components in wt %: mix of alluvial and dealluvial clays - 60-83, mix of thermal electric power stations ash for concretes - 10-20, and combustible additive - 7-20.
