FIELD: materials handling facilities; cranes. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to safety devices of lift cranes and is designed for automatic protection of cranes from overvoltages and overloads within the limits of safe operation. Device has overvoltage protection unit, coordinate protection limits setting unit, digital computing module coupled with parameter transmitters, actuating unit with motion interlock module and emergency signalling module. Signal analyzing module and logic module are introduced additionally into device. Crane motion prohibit signals are generated in case of dangerous voltage or crane overloads.
