FIELD: lifting and transportation facilities; erecting crane protection devices. SUBSTANCE: device has boom length and boom angle pickups, turntable slewing angle pickup, load hook lifting height pickups which are connected with inputs of actual coordinates unit and four inputs of tolerable coordinates signal shaper whose outputs are connected to inputs of tolerable coordinates recording unit; output of tolerable coordinates setting unit is connected to fifth input of shaper, and output of inhibit signal shaper is connected to sixth input. Input of inhibit signal shaper is connected to output of electric power line field strength signal level regulator; inputs of regulator are connected to outputs of units and electric power line field strength pickup; outputs of units are connected to additional inhibit signal shaper whose output is connected to one of inputs of OR circuit to other input of which output of inhibit signal shaper is connected. Output of OR circuit is connected with actuating mechanism through amplifier. With protection device switched on, shaper creates inhibit signal at minimum level of electric power line field strength near crane. Basing of signal level, crane operator executes tie-in of coordinates of crane and electric power line in operation of crane, recording data in on-line storage. During working cycle crane mechanisms whose movement is directed to inadmissible approach to electric power line are switched off both by signals of electric power line field strength signal shaper and signals of unit controlling crane equipment coordinates. EFFECT: enhanced reliability at complex protection of crane, load and team against inadmissible approach to electric power line. 6 dwg
