FIELD: mechanical engineering; load-lifting cranes control and protection.

SUBSTANCE: method provides measuring operating parameters of load-lifting crane, conversion of parameters and their transmission between controllers along common multiplexed digital communication line together with control signals and supply voltage of controllers. Supply voltage and signal in multiplexed digital communication line are shared in time. Using operating parameter of crane transmitted by digital multiplexed line, actual load of crane, actual position of its load-lifting equipment and strength of field of transmission line are calculated and compared with maximum tolerable values and control signals are shaped and transmitted by multiplexed digital communication line to actuating mechanisms of crane depending on results of comparing. Simultaneously, control of sidelight and head-light of boom head is provided additionally.

EFFECT: increased outreach of boom, improved reliability of protection system owing to reduction of number of communication lines between controllers, including number of circuits in cable drum, provision of control of sidelight and headlight of boom head without increasing number of circuits in cable drum.
