FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: processing of manganese concretions in order to isolate cobalt, copper, nickel, and manganese consists in adding 10-15% of pyrite to ground concretions, after which mixture is subjected to baking with sulfur dioxide-containing air blowing at 450-650 C for 1.0-5.0 hr followed by leaching in presence of sulfur dioxide and separation of pulp.
