FIELD: non-ferrous metals. SUBSTANCE: non-ferrous metals are leached with sulfur dioxide in the presence of O2. In the process of leaching pH value is maintained at the range 1,5- 2,7 by addition of sulfuric acid to the pulp. Leaching is stopped, when the ratio of sulfur dioxide fed to the pulp to manganese level in concretion is 1,2-2,0. Iron is precipitated from solution by concretion addition at concentration providing ratio of manganese in concretion to ferrous in solution 0,5-1,0. EFFECT: improved method of iron-manganese concretion reprocessing. 2 cl, 2 tbl
