FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: leaching is carried out by passing of gas containing 4-100% SO2 up to pH in pulp 3.4-3.6. Then pH in pulp is brought about to 2.80-2.95 by passing of gas containing 0.5-3.0% SO2. Extraction of Mn, Ni, Co and Cu is increased by 4.1; 5.4; 5.7 and 69.1% , respectively. EFFECT: enhanced selectivity and extraction degree of manganese and non-ferrous metals. 1 tbl, 1 dwg
