FIELD: corrosion protection. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, provides inhibitors for (i) protection of steel parts, machines, and structures operated in water-salt media (sealed cooling systems, process media in chemical and other production installations, hydrocarbon fuel storage tanks) as well as in soils and seawater against corrosive degradation caused by media and bacterial cells of sulfate-reducing bacteria and for (ii) prevention or lessening of hydrogen embrittlement of structures and parts fulfilling essential functions. Inhibitors are diaminotriazine derivatives of general formula: , wherein radicals R are methyl, ethyl, propyl, isopropyl, or diethylmethyl and radical R' is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, or methylthio, combining properties of corrosion and steel hydrogenation inhibitors. EFFECT: enhanced inhibition efficiency. 5 dwg, 7 tbl
