SUBSTANCE: invention concerns protection against corrosion, hydrogenation and prevention of sulfate-reducing bacterium development in conditions of reduced aeration of machine components. Method includes introduction in medium of aqueous-alcoholic solution kinone 2.3-bromine-1.4-benzoquinone or hydroquinone 2.5-bromine-1.4-hydroquinone and 2.3-bromine-1.4-hydroquinone in amount of 1-5 millimole/l.
EFFECT: providing of advanced decreasing of steel corrosion rate with increasing of introduced organic matter concentration.
