FIELD: polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: mixed poly-p-phenylene-terephthalamide system is made by adding stoichiometric amounts of polymerizing components to relevant solvent with polyvinylpyrrolidone with average-viscosity molecular weight at least 100000 taken in amount 5 to 30% of the weight of polymer to be prepared. After that, polymerizing components continue interacting to transfer system into anisotropic phase and to form poly-p-phenylene-terephthalamide/polyvinylpyrrolidone mixture, which is isolated from polymerization system. Fibrous pulp contains, wt.% poly-p-phenylene-terephthalamide component, 70-95; and polyvinylpyrrolidone, 5-30. Individual particles of pulp contain no ordinary hair and are 5 to 10 mm long and 0.1 to 50 mcm in diameter, while length-to-diameter ratio for short fibers exceeds 100. EFFECT: simplified pulp-formation process due to elimination of obligatory intensive stirring or imposing shear deformation on system components. 6 cl, 7 dwg, 1 tbl, 12 ex
