FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: staple yarn comprises mixture of fluorocarbon polymer fibers used in an amount of 35-90 wt% and one or several kinds of mixed fibers used in an amount of 65-10 wt% and free of cotton fibers. Fluorocarbon polymer is selected in the group consisting of polytetrafluoroethylene, fluorinated olefin polymers, tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropene copolymers, copolymers of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkylvinyl esters and copolymers of perflouroethylvinyl ethers and fluorinated olefin terpolymers. Yarn may contain yarn of continuous single filament and mixture of staple fibers, where staple fibers comprise 35-90 wt% of flourocarbon polymer fiber and 65-10 wt% of at least one kinds of mixed fibers, except for cotton fibers. Staple fibers are substantially wound around at least one thread of continuous single filament or formed over said thread or at least one thread of yarn of continuous single filaments is substantially wound around staple fiber. Staple fiber of such structure is used for manufacture of fabric adapted to be under load, sleeves in low-frictional wound products, bearings and sealing parts made from fabric. EFFECT: simplified manufacture process and improved frictional characteristics of yarn. 16 cl, 4 dwg, 1 tbl
