FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: variable-speed drive has holder, at least two rollers- satellites which are movable in radial direction and rotatable around their axis and flexible ring. Outer surface of flexible ring is provided with ratchet toothed rim. Pawls spring-loaded relative to center of holder are fitted on inner cylindrical surface of holder at angle relative to it. At power contact between pawls of holder and ratchet toothed rim, flexible ring is smoothly rotating at definite frequency and torque. EFFECT: increased loading capacity to variable-speed. 3 dwg
