FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: stepless transmission has driving and driven shafts, cylinder, U-shaped plates of equal length engaging through their slots, rollers. Member whose section is similar to inner section of cylinder, and teeth hinge-coupled to form endless belt sliding along member surface. Driving shaft placed inside cylinder is coaxial with the latter. U-shaped plates engage with inner surface of cylinder through their end faces. Outer teeth engage with projecting ends of plates on which rollers are mounted. Inner teeth engage with driven shaft. EFFECT: simplified design of stepless transmission, increased reliability. 3 dwg
