INFINITELY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION DRIVE PULLEY Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC F16H63/06 F16H55/56 F16H9/18

Abstract RU 2569448 C2

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: pulley comprises actuator, fixed and moving discs. Moving disc is clocked relative to fixed one while casing is locked axially relative to the latter. Centrifugal actuator comprises lever with first and second pivot pins articulated by first pivot pin with moving disc of fixed disc case. Increase in drive pulley rpm causes centrifugal forces and turns the lever about first pivot pin. Note here that said lever pulls out the case and moving disc to displace it axially towards fixed disc. Lever moves relative to first pivot pin thanks to turn about second pivot pin. Second pivot pin is shifted from the first one.

EFFECT: possibility of mechanism adjustment at invariable coupling rpm.
