SUBSTANCE: radiant burner designed for use in various heat-and-power generating plants, domestic and utility gas stoves, heaters, dryers, and furnaces has body, injector in the form of gas nozzle with mixing tube, and perforated ceramic radiating checker; the latter can be designed to perform additional functions of waterwall and reflector; to this end, it is made of three-dimensional configuration in the form of cavities having transverse size and depth of at least 10 mm; cavity bottom or walls, or bottom and walls may be perforated which ensures complete fuel combustion and greatly reduces CO emissions from combustion products, and also provides for steady burning within comprehensive range of fuel pressure variations.
