FIELD: mobile and cellular radiophones. SUBSTANCE: cover is held on case in locked position by means of latch that has at least one border surface along one edge of flange and occupies case-to-cover mating surface in assembled condition. Other side of flange is built integral with elongated plate attached to cover. Elongated plate takes torsional thrusts on case-to-cover fastening assembly and builds up torsional pressure applied to flange border surface so as to keep the latter in mesh with mating surface of case. Latch possesses all properties typical of mechanical spring-loading devices. EFFECT: reduced cost, improved service life and reliability of latch. 17 cl, 5 dwg
