FIELD: physics, communications.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to devices for deploying, routing, installing, storing, transporting, connecting and managing telecommunication cables and connections. Disclosed is a telecommunication node, which includes: a chassis which defines an interior region and a tray unit located in the interior region. The tray unit includes a tray and coil unit with a cable, where the coil unit with a cable is connected to the base panel of the tray. The coil unit with a cable is configured to rotate about the tray. The coil unit with a cable includes a hub, a flange connected to the hub and an adapter module. The flange forms a region for splicing cable ends. The adapter module is connected to a flange socket module and is configured to slide relative to the flange in a direction which is generally perpendicular to the flange between an extended position and a retracted position.
EFFECT: enabling the insertion of the tray unit into the chassis and retrieval thereof from the chassis without disconnection from the tray unit with a cable or a plurality of adapters.
