FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring systolodiastolic ratio in umbilical cord artery and left uterine artery by applying Doppler flowmetry. The systolodiastolic ratio in umbilical cord artery being found equal to 2.80 or lower and systolodiastolic ratio gradient between the umbilical cord artery and left uterine artery being equal to 1.00 or lower, threatened abortion is predicted.
