FIELD: toy construction sets, puzzles and other amusing equipment. SUBSTANCE: According to first and second versions, construction set has members made from 1-10 mm thick wooden and/or polymeric sheets. Construction set members are manufactured by cutting sheet material by means of laser cutter having radiation power of 100 Wt-1 kWt and working length of laser radiation wave of 10-15 microns. At least part of N members of construction set are united into at least two groups, each comprising n members which may be accommodated one within the other to form sequence of members in group. Such arrangement provides smooth outlines of model assembled from these groups of members. Members in each group form sequence satisfying condition: L(n) <L(n+1) and/or S(n) <S(n+1), where n=1,2,3... are whole numbers corresponding to ordinal numbers of members in group, L is maximum longitudinal size of member, S is maximum transverse size of member. On the whole, members in groups are made so as to form sequence comprising of members of different groups and satisfying condition: LNn
