FIELD: chemical industry, more particularly preparation of molecular chemical containers for storage and transportation of volatile materials as solid sources of volatile materials. SUBSTANCE: reactor is charged with chlorine or bromine trifluoride, cooled with liquid nitrogen, graphite is added and the whole is maintained for some time. The resulting product is treated with solution of NO2, SO2 or acetone in carbon tetrachloride, filtered off, washed and dried. This compound may be further treated with volatile material, e.g. ethyl alcohol or other volatile material soluble in first volatile material, e.g SO2.. The resulting compounds have general formula: CxFGly•zA wherein x is 1.9-2.2; y is 0.02-0.08; z is 0.09-0.20; Gl-Cl or Br; A is volatile material. Method is explosionproof, requires neither elevated temperatures nor special equipment . Compounds are moisture resistant and are capable of evolving volatiles into environment. EFFECT: more efficient preparation method. 3 cl
