FIELD: railway transport; railway gauge checking facilities. SUBSTANCE: device has three measuring bogies 1 coupled with railway traction vehicle, two of which are orientated in one direction, and third one, in opposite direction. All bogies are provided with measuring instruments coupled with indicating and recording instruments. Bogies are suspended on axles with axle-boxes of railway inspection car-type two bogies being mounted on one axle, and one bogie, on the other axle. Bogie frames are made in form of pair of carrying booms secured by one end on axle of corresponding axle-box and carrying wheels on other ends of axles. Each bogie is suspended for turning by means of frame booms and power cylinders from traction vehicle frame. Wheels axles are telescopic ones. Maximum deflection pickups 9, rail gauge width pickup 10, rail line elevation pickups 11, rail line longitudinal height pickups 12 and clinometer 13 are used as measuring instruments.
