FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, equipment for sealing modules with load or big-volume containers. SUBSTANCE: locking-and-sealing apparatus has body 1 with bore extending into dead opening of smaller diameter, locking member formed as cylindrical rod 12 with conical surface, annular channel at one end and head at other end, and flexible stop member mounted in body 1 for engagement with at least one portion of annular channel surface. Body 1 has cover with opening for receiving stop member, which has at least three slide blocks with projections. Slide blocks are positioned about rod between bore end surface and cover and are resiliently embraced with spring ring. Slide blocks have section extending perpendicular to longitudinal axis of body 1 and formed as annular spaced circumferentially arranged sectors. Slide blocks projection surfaces at the side adjacent to rod insertion zone are made conical, with generatrix inclination angle of 40-60 deg to planar surface of slide block, opposite to rod insertion zone, and conical surface at rod end has cone apex angle of 30-40 deg. Spring ring is positioned in channels on outer side of slide blocks. Each slide block has section lengthwise of body axis made in the form of rectangular trapezium.
