FIELD: space vehicles; gas jet control systems and systems providing microgravitation in orbital modules. SUBSTANCE: engine has gas duct with control valve, jet, heating chamber and nozzle. Heat exchanger is connected to jet from control valve side. With gas passing through critical section of jet, on condition that dimensions of critical sections of jet and nozzle, their flow factors and heat physical characteristics of gas before jet nozzle comply with dependence protected by invention, feed-back coupling between gas temperature and its flow rate through nozzle is eliminated. Controllable jet can be used to provide adjustment of engine to nominal parameters and enlarge control range. Thrust control is provided by changing heat power delivered to gas through heating chamber. EFFECT: increased depth and accuracy of thrust control on compressed gas, increased reliability. 3 cl, 3 dwg
