FIELD: fluid viscosity metering. SUBSTANCE: viscosimeter has fluid-viscosity-to-electric-signal converter, casing with cavity to receive fluid under analysis, standard element rigidly fixed to casing, and vibrating facility fixed on one end to standard element and carrying vibrating member on other end, vibration exciting coil, and permanent magnetic field device. Converter is provided with vibrating member oscillation detector. Permanent magnetic field device is arranged so that it is isolated from fluid under measurement. Axial line of excitation coil is placed at certain angle to magnetic lines of force. EFFECT: improved operating conditions. 6 cl, 7 dwg
