DISK PLOW BODY Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture and forestry. SUBSTANCE: disk plow body has tine 1 with pin 2 carrying spherical disk 4 which is loosely mounted on pin through bearing. Disk 4 is connected to body through needles. Spherical front 7 of working tool is rigidly fixed on pin 2, with radius of sphere being equal to that of disk 4. Wing 8 of auxiliary working tool is attached to bracket 9 by upper eyelet 10 and lower eyelet 11, which are interconnected through finger. Upper eyelet 10 and lower eyelet 11 with cheeks welded to wing 8 are connected to bracket 9 by bolts. Upper eyelet 10 has flat portion rigidly attached to it and provided with curved slot for receiving locking bolt 17, which is rigidly connected to lower eyelet 11. Such attachment of wing 8 to bracket 9 allows angle of rotation of wing 8 to be changed and fixed relative to mutually perpendicular axes with following fixing of final position of wing 8 and, as a result, gapless joining of wing 8 to spherical front 7. Bracket 9 is mounted in guide 18 so that its position may be changed and it may be fixed by bolts. Guide 18 is pivotally attached on cantilever 20 and it may be fixed in predetermined position by nut 21 to allow wing 8 to be adjusted in vertical plane. Cantilever 20 is coupled to tine 1 by yoke 22. Such construction allows basic soil cultivation to be carried out in fields as well as in forest cuttings.
