METHOD FOR PREVENTING METASTASES RECURRENCE IN URINARY PATH CANCER PATIENTS Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves invoking stress response in urinary bladder cancer and kidney cancer patients having peripheral blood leukocyte level not exceeding 8.8•109/l, beginning with the third - fifth day after radical operation being done in daily treatment mode. Central exposure is applied at the first stage as follows. Back of the head is exposed to sinusoid magnetic field of 50 Hz frequency with modulated rectangular pulses of 0.5 s duration and repetition period of 1 s, 1 mTl unit inductance, 5 s long initial exposure time incremented by 1-2 s in following action not exceeding the total value of 12 s. Local exposure is applied at the second stage as follows. The urinary bladder and kidney zones are exposed to local magnetic treatment in urinary bladder cancer and kidney cancer patients, respectively, using two inductors and sinusoid magnetic field of 50 Hz frequency, 10 mTl units initial inductance, and 10 mTl units increment in every new action not exceeding the total value of 50 mTl units under constant exposure time of 20 min. Stress response level achieved at leukocyte level being equal to 10-11•109/l, the central exposure is stopped at the second day after applying the double action. The local treatment is continued without increasing the dose until adaptation responses being achieved with general blood leukocytes level not exceeding 8.8•109/l and relative number of leukocytes being not higher than 37%.
