FIELD: special equipment for retrieving of bogged and sunk military vehicles and rescuing the crews. SUBSTANCE: articulated armored retriever in static position is a structure consisting of two sections. Ferry consisting of two semiboats is arranged between sections on automatic coupler. Articulated armored retriever is placed at waterline before negotiation of water obstacle by military vehicles. Then front section of retriever is uncoupled from ferry, and rear section pushes ferry into water and is then also uncoupled from ferry. Ferry exploits water obstacle and it is kept on water till the end of crossing providing, if necessary, rescuing work and covering of retrieving work. Retriever sections are held on bank of water obstacle under control of drivers and are used, together with ferry, for retrieving sunk vehicles. One of retriever sections can be used as movable tanker. EFFECT: reduced time taken for retrieving bogged or sunk vehicles and rescuing the crews. 2 dwg
