FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means designed for retrieving military vehicles and material bogged and sunk when crossing water obstacle and saving their crews. ARMORED retriever in static position is a structure consisting of two sections with ferry mounted on automatic coupler between sections. Ferry consists of two semiboats. Prior to crossing water obstacle by military vehicles, armored retriever is moved to water, front section is uncoupled from ferry, and rear section pushes ferry into water and then is uncoupled from ferry also. Sections controlled by drives are left on bank of water obstacle and, in case of necessity, provide retrieving of sunk vehicles together with ferry. EFFECT: reduced time taken for saving the crews and retrieving bogged or sunk vehicles at crossing of water obstacles. 2 dwg
