FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: connecting units are elements of surface arrangement of detonating cords in combination with a pyrotechnic relay based on weak-impulse initiating cords-waveguides, type "Nonel", or impact tubes used for wiring of blasting circuits in blasting operations in mining industry, construction, etc. Connecting unit has a casing in the form of a sleeve with a seat for the detonator and holes for inlet-outlet of the cord. The upper part of the casing is made in the form of flexible lugs separated by grooves, the casing has diametrically opposite longitudinal holes arranged in the middle part and is provided with a flange in the bottom part; the seat for the detonator is provided with internal flexible locks in the upper part; the holes for inlet-outlet of the cord are made in the flange, their axes are parallel with the axis of the seat for the detonator and longitudinal axes of the casing holes and located in the same plane with them; and the flexible lugs are separated by a groove of V-shaped section located symmetrically relative to the plane of the hole axes and having cylinder-shaped ducts on the bottom and in the middle part of the groove perpendicular to the casing axis. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of fixing of sections of detonating cords and primer caps of the pyrotechnic relay and enhanced convenience and adaptability to assembly. 3 dwg
