FIELD: production of filtering materials for deep cleaning of liquid and gaseous media from petroleum products emulsified in them. SUBSTANCE: filtering material is produced by dry formation of aeromixture containing chemical fiber and ground waste paper product with polymerization extent of 200-800, specific surface of 100-9,000 sq. m/g. Waste paper is ground in hammer grinder at beat impact frequency of 2000-6000 impacts/min, force of single impact of 40.0-200.0 kgf/sq.cm and duration of processing of 0.1-0.5 s. Viscose, polyester or polypropylene fiber is used as chemical fiber. EFFECT: increased filtering capacity and improved quality of filtering material. 2 cl, 1 tbl, 4 ex
