GAS VALVE FOR FEEDING GAS PULSE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2153117 C2

FIELD: power-plant engineering and other industries. SUBSTANCE: gas valve has main part free to come to rest when stopped by valve seat for closing the valve. Main part of valve has diaphragm whose outer edge is secured within body so that adjusting box communicating through throttle valve with outlet port is formed on its first side remote from valve seat. At least part of second side of diaphragm communicates with gas inlet port; adjusting box has gas vents providing for valve opening under pressure exerted by gas flowing from inlet port to second side of diaphragm. Main part of valve has also valve member attached at diaphragm center actually occurring on its second side and tightly fitted to valve seat. Such design of gas valve ensures its fast opening and conveying great amount of gas. EFFECT: improved efficiency and reliability of valve. 9 cl, 9 dwg
