FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed gas valve contains housing with inlet gas branch pipe and outlet gas branch pipe. Housing is provided with valve ring-shaped seat and valve plate arranged higher in direction of flow which can be tightly pressed to said valve seat. Valve plate is located in center of diaphragm, and ring-like edge of diaphragm is secured in housing. Side of diaphragm pointed to valve seat is in direct contact with inlet gas branch pipe. Side of diaphragm directed from valve seat service as control chamber border. Control chamber communicates with inlet gas branch pipe through throttling hole. Means are provided to let gas come out of control chamber into outlet gas branch pipe to open gas valve. EFFECT: improved reliability of device. 11 cl, 5 dwg
