FIELD: mechanical engineering; permanent joints of pipes; erection of pipe lines in oil and gas producing industry and in public utilities. SUBSTANCE: ends of coats are removed to the same distance as lining; then thin-walled bushes are fitted inside and outside the pipes; bushes are provided with bell-mouths and are made from corrosion-resistant metal at lower heat conductivity coefficient as compared with that of metal of pipes; this metal shall be compatible with metal of pipes in weldability. Ends of thin-walled bushes and pipes are interconnected by continuous corrosion-resistant weld seam. Ends of linings are coats are secured to ends of pipes by simultaneous expansion of inner thin-walled bushed and crimping of outer thin-walled bushed, after which ends of pipes thus prepared are welded together the aid of electrodes made from corrosion-resistant metal. EFFECT: improved quality of pipes. 2 dwg
