FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves installation and fixation of a shell from corrosion-resistant steel inside a pipe end with an inner coating. In order to fix the shell, it is distributed by means of a mandrel through a plastic cover that is removed after distribution.
EFFECT: improving quality of pipes with an inner coating; absence of longitudinal grooves due to the mandrel from the shell surface.
