FIELD: vacuum cleaner accessories. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has ultraviolet lamp accommodating block preventing foreign matter from adhering to lamp. Vacuum cleaner has dust catcher. Vacuum cleaner housing has upper and lower units. Dust catcher is positioned in lower units. Ultraviolet lamp accommodating block is positioned between lever for preventing inadequate closing and damper positioned in lower unit. Lamp accommodating block is disposed adjacent to inner side of dust catcher panel, which is rigidly fixed by retaining grip of dust catcher in lower unit and lever. Ultraviolet lamp is mounted by means of clamp rigidly attached to lamp accommodating block. Transparent plate is manufactured from quartz glass. Such construction provides for effective sterilization of air from bacteria existing in dust catcher. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 5 dwg
