VACUUM CLEANER SUCTION BRUSH Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A47L9/04

Abstract RU 2370199 C1

FIELD: personal demand items.

SUBSTANCE: suction brush is designed for vacuum cleaner and consists of the front locking element and the rear locking element, which are located in front and rear parts of its lower surface correspondingly and allow to tightly isolate the hole in a circumferential direction, which is made in lower surface of the brush housing, owing to which high suction force is created between the surface being cleaned and the suction hole during the cleaning process. The front locking element is installed with the possibility of being turned on the brush housing so that one of its ends is connected to the brush housing. The first locking element consists of the first locking lever and the second locking lever, which are meant for maintaining high suction force between suction hole and the surface being cleaned at their being brought alternately into close contact with the surface being cleaned when the suction brush is moved forward or backward. The first locking lever has air suction holes intended for preventing the air flow from entering the suction hole when the first locking lever is in close contact with the surface being cleaned when the brush housing is moved forward.

EFFECT: preventing decrease of suction force created on the periphery of suction hole, providing usability and operability of suction brush when it is moved forward and the possibility of controlling suction force in compliance with the characteristic of the surface being cleaned.
