FIELD: apparatuses for sawing different materials, for example timber. SUBSTANCE: at rotation of gear wheel 13 control member 12 rotates and through crank 11 and dog 4 it imparts reciprocation motion to rod 3 with hack saw web 1. Simultaneously face of control member 12 inclined relative to its axis by angle non-equal to 90 degrees runs against roller 7 providing rotation of rod 3 with hack saw web 1 around axis 5. In the result hack saw web performs combined rotation and reciprocation motion. EFFECT: improved design of hack saw due to reduced mass of control member, lowered vibration of saw at operation. 1 dwg
