FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: compensator is intended for high-speed compensation of reactive power under conditions of soft network and abruptly changing industrial load. It includes transmitter of reactive power of network, transmitter of deviation of voltage of load, transformer, two inverter with common filter and reversible rectifier. Inverters are controlled by control system that provides for control over their phases correspondingly through angles α+β and π-α+β relative to network voltage. Control α is carried out in function of reactive power of network and control β is conducted in function of deviation of voltage of load. EFFECT: improved mass and size characteristics and enhanced speed of response. 3 dwg
