FIELD: power electronics; transformer-substation output voltage and reactive power correction. SUBSTANCE: corrector is provided with high-frequency section to reduce size and weight of additional transformer of substation. Step-down high-frequency transformer has its windings connected in delta-star or in delta-star with neutral brought out; it is inserted between two frequency changers. One of frequency changers functions to step up frequency and incorporates dc voltage section built around recuperative rectifier and 180 deg. voltage inverter; other one is used to step frequency down to supply mains frequency and is, essentially, naturally commutated. zero cycloconverter. Connected to rectifier output terminals are filter compensating circuits and cosine capacitor may be connected to primary or secondary circuit of substation main transformer, if necessary. Additional voltage amplitude is controlled by recuperative rectifier from newly introduced power or current reactive component sensor (angle ϕ or tgϕ of current) at input or output of substation; phase is controlled from load voltage deviation sensor at the same time actuating control systems by inverter and converter. Such design of corrector provides for better waveform of input current and output voltage. EFFECT: enhanced power efficiency, enlarged reactive power correction and output voltage regulation range. 2 cl, 4 dwg
